Terrace Row Missionary Committee

The Terrace Row Missionary Committee supports a variety of mission projects in Ireland and overseas, both prayerfully and financially.

Mission Statement

   - To develop our own missionary interest and knowledge;
   - To promote and encourage missionary interest within the congregation;
   - To support P.C.I. personnel prayerfully and practically.

Fulfilment

   - We fulfil this by using P.C.I’s weekly Prayer Line, Prayer Focus, P.C.I’s magazines and prayer letters, as well as communication by email and personal visits from our missionaries;
   - Missionary interest is shared with the congregation who support our fund raising events;
   - Our meetings all finish with a time of prayer.

Fund Raising Events

We have 2 main fund-raising events each year:-
   - A concert/service on a Saturday/Sunday in March;
   - A car boot sale on the last Saturday in August.

Records show that missionary interest in Terrace Row Presbyterian Church dates back at least to 1876, when financial support was first given by the church ladies to the work of the Zenana Mission, in the sum of £8.14s!
